Our Mission and History
Our Mission
Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center is here to help you grow in faith, hope and love of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through Mary, our Blessed Mother, in union with the Roman Catholic Church.
Our History
In 1911, Cincinnati's Archbishop Henry K. Moeller hosted the closing ceremonies of the 5th National Eucharistic Congress on these grounds. Shortly thereafter, a major seminary, Mt. St. Mary’s of the West, opened. Today, Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center continues the same mission it began with— to be a house of prayer, offering the Sacraments, educating in the faith, and providing a beautiful place for reflection.
